"Roadcheck" is a 72-hour roadside inspection safety "blitz" sponsored by the CVSA and others every year. In 2008, 9,143 inspectors at 1,683 locations performed nearly 68,000 truck and bus inspections in North America. This year, we decided to tag along and see what the inspectors look for in the big rigs they pull over for review.

and another thing if DOT was so much on safety then why dont they mess with towel heads? i seen one driveing down the road the other day with no tags or anything on truck no markings.... and he just drove right by the scale.. tell me why they can but if we do we get a hell of a ticket or are put out of service or lose our cdl? anser that u fellow piggys..

He's pretty good checking the air pressure by bumping the sidewall....NOT....He couldn't tell within 40 pounds whether the tire was fully inflated or not, and washer fluid.....last time I checked, that isn't required.

@tinamharp Well i must be lucky because i havent had any problems with any scales since last time i commented on this..got pulled over in Wyoming at a pull out on i-25 and passed with flying colors...and on a lonely road in middle of nowhere in South Dakota they had a inspection checkpoint set up passed that one too..both times the officers were very friendly..i dont travel that far either like you so aybe thats another factor..

@danthehitman741 oh god here is a couple for you seymore,indiana north bound scales red headed bitch thinks she is god I44 west bound st clair ,Mo. joplin MO east bound scales on 44 , any one of the dickheads in Ohio, hwy 75 north corbin ,ky , 266 east in tulsa,ok , I 35 north wichita,ks, I could do this forever.Most of them are worthless waist of skin and its done for a dollar so now you have been schooled
