@Mitrolaja Those aren't ceramic inserts. Just carbide. The didn't use coolant because it would have made the demo harder to see. Ceramic inserts need a much higher SFM and you would see white hot chips coming off the part as well.

@314WESTERN Wrong. There are ceramic cutting tools, which can not be cooled, because they would break due to thermal shock.

@Amel3 i saw another maschine at the DMG house expo back in 2011 that did a 15mm cut with 1.5mm/rev, the maschine was a CTX 6600 Delta
