This is the Loveland Historic Castle located in Loveland Ohio. Built by Sir Harry Andrews and cared for today by the KOGT (Knights Of the Golden Trail) The Little Miami River lies near the castle, and the gardens are simply gorgeous when in full bloom. The photos are taken by and arranged by Andrea Smith. The music is by Gary Stadler (From the CD, Fairy Heart Magic).

the castle has had a lot of recent work done on and around it. there is a newer pic-nic area up behind the gardens/dry moat. and the roof has been re-done, but not yet open to the public just yet. the gardens are as beautiful as ever. the knights have done a great deal of work within the past few years and are continuing to keep it up =)

when i went there in the cellar someone was knocking on the door mouning and no one was there (i think that place is haunted)!!

It has been over 20 years since I was at the Castle. I visited in the winter and have never forgotten it. This video is great and brings back some memories. Always thought this would be a great place to have a picnic with treasured ones. Does anyone know who the music is from?? Reminds me in a way of the late great Kate Wolf. hi, im the creator of the video/slideshow, and the music i used is from a cd called Fairy Heart Magic, the ones who made the music according to the cd info is Gary Stadler with Stephannie. I assume Stephannie is the singer, but they don't giver her last name. The song name is called Garden of Dreams

do you all still let people go thru it? how do I get there from I-275?

yes they give tours everyday. they open at 11 and close at 5. it costs $3.00 to tour per person. They also put on a haunted castle tour around Halloween time in october.

Has there been a lot of working done on the castle in the last several years? I thought i remembered setting eyes on it back around 2000 and it wasn't looking it's best... rather the grounds a round it had started to run wild. Never the less I'm thrilled to see it in such a wonderful state now!
I heard they have concerts down there now. Anybody verify this?

also yes, they just had a Music Festival about 2 weeks ago(on father's day weekend). and i believe they have some groups or individuals come there to play from time to time.
