@francheskalola Good for you! You are apparently the only one on this thread who really understood that the Red Balloon was an allegory for Christ. You're very young, francheskalola, so you probably don't know this. But movies, songs and TV shows used to have uplifting, Christian messages like this all of the time. Now, it is all about sex and violence. (Just watch, now. Because I got into details about Christ, some small-minded person is going to hate on me!!) God bless!!

I was watching "9 Crimes" by Damien Rice a few minutes ago and someone mentioned this movie. I checked it out. Funny thing is, my name is also Pascal.

If I was Pascal, at 3:22, I would have let go of the balloon to let it fly up high away from the bullies which can be high enough so the bullies wouldn't be able to shoot anything at the balloon with the slingshot, and once the bullies leave, the balloon could have come back down to Pascal.

The story of a kid who got raped for his red ballon by gay school boys then they popped it and then got balloon hugs and then dropped him from 1000's of feet up cool story bro
