well if you have heard any other Manman songs you would know that most of them are about uptown girls being too good for poor hyena raised dudes. This song is no different. The story and animation totally link up. The story is about a couple and the girl is rich and the guy doesn't know why she likes him and goes to meet her rich father who hates him. There is a giant that kinda narrates because it's a Fee Fi Fo Fum type story. Hope this can explain your distaste or confusion.
