These pictures were taken on September 8th 2011 . This is some of the flood damage we all woke up to . Some people have lost everything & everybody it seems , has been affected in one way or another. I have another video up with pictures taken in Meshoppen,PA

Please pray for those who have been affected by this flood.

Special Thanks to Barb Gay for taking some of these pictures

"The remnants of Tropical Storm Lee poured water on top of the already soaked Northeast on Thursday, closing hundreds of roads and forcing evacuation orders for more than 100,000 people from the Susquehanna River's worst flooding in nearly 40 years." - Foxnews.com

  • Just played the video again and realized I missed a few pictures...one of those cottages is my family's property...unreal. Any additional photos would be great. Thanks again for posting.

  • Would you happen to have any more pictures of Black Diamond Beach Rd? My family has property literally yards away from where those cottages are. Much appreciated!

  • @ndarling58 Yeah & it was even worse in some parts - I've never seen it this bad

  • wow town got it that bad?

  • This is very hard to see..... the song is beautiful and the images haunting. Praying for everyone affected by this horrible flood.

  • Brought me to tears...especially with the music : ( My BF lives in Tunkhannock and I cannot get up there due to questionable road conditions.... But please give credit to the photographers ( including Barb Gay)

  • Thank you for this video. I am born and raised here, still have family in the area. I now live in CO and still like to keep in touch as to what's going on. I was there in 1972 and it wasn't as bad as this.

  • Amazing video! It's tough to see our little town looking like this, but amazing to get a glimpse from above for those of us who have not been able to get out yet.
