  • @KoenHead I agree, strange isn't it. I think most people just don't hear this stuff. The vast majority turn on their radios in the day and watch TV at night, they are bombarded with mindless singers singing senseless songs. We need more people like John Peel and we need alternative daytime radio stations to open people's eyes. Everyone needs to learn that music is not about making money. Music; as with all art forms; is about the expression of the self.

  • When I picked this CD up when it came out eons ago, I loved it, but kinda knew these guys wouldn't ever really meet with mass mainstream success. Why not? Because they are talented, intelligent, and massively creative and remain so to this day. Critics and tastemakers would rather push lesser artists on the public, and the public usually fall for it. That's why a band like Gomez or, say, LOW, can toil for years with a cult following, while bands like Kings of Leon sell out arenas. Just sad.....
