This video shows you how to take the tooling marks out of a machined piece of aluminum and polish it to a mirror finish. We use a Baldor buffer various compounds and sand paper. The rough machined surface is smoothed out by first sanding it with wet sanding paper on a lathe. Then the pieces is polished to a mirror finish using a power buffer.

  • please dont tell people to wear any gloves ,, i nearly riped my thumb off on a drill press turning way slower, was wearing a lose glove it will nearly tear you up so fast u dont even know what just happin , other wise like your vedio

  • How come you didn't let us see you actually letting the wheels do their job much? This video would be much more interesting if there was less talking and more actual polishing in it.
