Reports that L.M. Montgomery took her own life were devastating to relative Georgie Campbell MacLeod

To Georgie Campbell MacLeod, Lucy Maud Montgomery was more than just a writer.
The author of "Anne of Green Gables" was a cherished member of the family. And Montgomery was a frequent visitor to her family's Park Corner home.
So when Montgomery's granddaughter recently wrote a column saying the author took her own life, MacLeod was devastated.
"My heart was broken," said MacLeod, who doesn't believe Montgomery committed suicide.

She apparently used to live in the building that is now my apartment. That's what I'm told, anyway. And yes, she evidently did kill herself, I hate when people refuse to believe things like that just because they don't want to.

shes such a goot author i loved her book jane of lantern hill. its my favourite book ever i can never top it with any books that i read
