Thank you for sharing your story Wendy, it makes me feel very angry that those rich horrible people would make a person homeless just so they can steal even more money. It makes me think of that saying "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer". And David's comments were right on the nose as well, the corporate clowns that cut down the rain forrests to make room for parking lots. Its disgusting. I just feel that human kind is headed in a horrific direction.

So get off your butt and fix what needs to be fixed...if we don't all take a stand where we can then all hope is lost. but if we DO take a stand the "We" can do anything. We're working on it, now if the rest of you out there would fix what your close to we all carry the load together.

Best of Luck to Wendy, I know she needs it. You need an advocate like Clark Howard used to be in Atlanta, but now he's on CNN, so I don't know, maybe he sold out too. It sounds like she might have a class action suit, if she could find enough people who were screwed over by this group.

Everywhere that the funky, cool, artsy people make amazing, winds up getting taken over by yuppie corporate stores. It's a shame. People on the bottom economically create the buzz, then the landlords up the rent, and the buzz killers move in. I've seen it in major cities, and in smaller cities. I had a business in Asheville NC for a while, and the city worked so hard to get grants for entrepenuers, but the corporates took over in 3 years, illegally, breaking the charters of the grants.
