@clairens Well - they're from france, and an alternative band,so I don't see how you'd expect them to do a *fab* job of a bossa song either way. It seems pretty mismatched to me...but no bother.

@fortrevoryoung Herbie Mann played in the track, he's just not in the video, where he was replaced by the goofy guy in a mexican (?) hat - whose performance btw suits well the "tropical irony" take of both the video and the arrangements. this version was recorded for the 1996 collective album Red+Hot+Rio - which btw featured Tom Jobim himself in another track ("How insensitive", sang with Sting).

wtf..this is so out of rythm it doesn't make sense anymore....sometimes it can be cool, but this is rubbish...and, for those who'd say why am i listening then, I am not. I stopped to write this at 0.44 and will go on to another version. :)
