I would say yes if you know how to use CIS. Defense+ and the firewall module are just awesome.

I like avira free but the ads just give me a headache in the middle of something and now I know how to use CIS after watching these videos.

@starfaery : In all honesty, even FULLY updated, Comodo would NOT have eliminated all of that Adware. I've run SAS, which specializes in removing adware and it didn't detect all the adware on my own PC. I had to of course use multiple products.  Most AVs are not going to remove all the adware.

@mrizos i know your comment was a year ago but have you checked cis 4.1 its antivirus is on par with avira now and in some test surpasses it.....

i used a couple test files to test kaspersky and the strange thing is that windows defender detected some of the files before kaspersky did strange huh

i used to have avira and then I switched to comodo antivirus for a month then I decided to go back to avira and I scanned my system and it found 174 suspicious files and 4 viruses in system restore folder.

I still use comodo firewall as a standalone.

It would have been better if Matt had ran SAS afterward just to see if there was anything Comodo missed. That didn't happen.

Also, it was Clear that Comodo left behind LOTS of Adware (BHO Malware). U R right about the redirections. Still,almost All AV/AM leave behind Adware. Comodo is no diff. I would'nt say Matt "Cheated" at all. He did it in front of you! If he'd hidden what he'd done that would be a diff story. Seeing it you know it was left behind! Comodo's still quite good.
