While the Microtech is a great ECU (I have an LT8s in my 2nd gen), they don't really have many features. They are a bare bones ECU that must be optioned from the factory to support things most other ECUs do by default (idle valve, boost control, etc.). And they still don't have save to disk, closed loop, 3D timing tables, etc.
Yeah I spose what you say is true. I have an MT8 on my FC. I meant that the features are available if you want them. I personally love the Power FC, had one on the ex's R33 apart from the fact you need to have an AFM (unless you have the D-Jetro which is superior to the FC)
Microtech won't seem to answer my emails, so I don't know if I will ever be able to get the features I want added to my LT8s. But these days, I find it hard to beat the Megasquirt.
I'm not familiar with Megasquirt. Here in oz everyone uses Link, Wolf, EMS, Micotech, Haltech, APEXi and the major bigger name JDM suppliers as well as all the piggyback systems and parts. It all depends on what your tuner knows as well, uless you are tuning yourself but I leave that to the shop.
Join the party. I've been giving him shit every time I see his comments on Rotors. The fool doesn't knowwhat he's talking about. You've probably seen my comments back at him. Cant believe that he's over 30 (apparently) yet still mouths off like a school kid with no consequences.

Plenty of plug and play stuff I think and lots of features.
