  • Interesting video. I live in the southeast and thought I'd have to drive out to Denver to get a used one. Got lucky and found one recently in Nashville. An '83 fleet. One of the very few kinds of FWCs that will fit a modern day tacoma... with a little work. Still a work in progress, but in good condition for its age. I like what you did with yours. I'd like to install a CB or maybe a ham in mine as well.

  • @NOOKTWO

thanks for the tip, i am buying a coyote pop up camper and should have it by may,the family who builds them originally started fourwheelcampers, they look like well built and are getting good reviews. just in time for spring bearhuntin!

  • very nice setup

  • The truck turned out beautiful and had no rust wich is rare for a 1972 gmc 4x4.The camper is coming along great, everything works perfect now and I have added a nice stereo system and a new c.b radio with the whip antenna.this is a four wheel camper 1984 keystone model 9ft.(anyone have one?)All packed up and ready to go.I have one more task,I am going to put in a 3rd fuel tank in the truck as I would like to be able to go the first 500-600 miles or so with no stops just in case !
