exactly wat doyle wrote.he won small pots the first two times with aces then lost a big one
-
I like how Ivey said, "That's what I get."
after limping with aces and letting the 84o see a flop. I see why he limped having had aces prior and didn't get any action at all, but I liked how he immediately owned up to the bad play and said it out loud.

seems like noone of you ever played poker tournament..
-
LOL at Andy black playing blind and flopping near the nuts
-
Bizarre move considering he had been min raising any hand he had been playing prior. Also, even though he prob would have killed any action by pre flop raising, he would still be in the tourney... better to win a small pot than lose a big!

7 as nock-out river card :D
-
well he raised every pot he enters, shortstacked and limps, seems pretty obvious
-
ivey made a small mistake for not raising with his pocket ace's. The first time he had pocket ace's he raised pre-flop but everyone folded so he wanted to just limp in in order to trap the other players..

A 3 x BB raise might have attracted some action. I will never understand why anyone limps with AA. It's just dumb.
-
also, ivey was essentially short stacked at the time that is why he needed to make such a move. someone who raises from early position in poker is usually regarded with respect and he would not likely extract the most value from his aces if he did it that way. ivey needed a double up and this was his best way of doing so. just did not happen. that's poker!
Ivey knew exactly what he was trying to do by just calling in early position before the flop, it just didn't work out this time. How can you possibly tell someone who has won 5 WSOP bracelets how to play poker!!!???

Lol @ the freerollers giving Ivey advice. Ivey has probably made more money in cash games than your entire families combined.
