WWFM IV -- Fountain Fishing Flash Mob!

The Fourth Bi-annual World Wide Flash Mob Event!! (Dozens of events all around the world will be coordinated to happen at the same time.)

A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse.

This event is only 15 minutes long!! You MUST be present and sign a log sheet during this time to claim the event. Please BYOP! (Bring your own pen)

The Plan: Meet at the coordinates WITH A FISHING POLE @ 10am EXACTLY (not one minute before!) There will be a few extra poles available.

Here is the ultra-precise itinerary:

At precisely 10:00am PST on Saturday, November 8th, we will place the opened tackle box (log sheet container) at the coordinates. We will hand out log sheets for participants to sign and drop into the container. Bring a pen.

At precisely 10:05am, we will take a group photo, standing in front of the fountain.

At precisely 10:07am, we will call out the raffle prize winners (based on the log sheets). One of the raffle items will be the FTF honors certificate.

At precisely 10:10am, we will all drop our lines and fish the fountain! (This is the best part). If any muggles are curious about the event we will have flyers that explain geocaching.

At precisely 10:15am, the log sheets will be packed up and sealed away. The event area will be vacated without a trace!!! Events that happen after 10:15:01am do not count as part of THIS event.

Only those participants whose names appear on the log sheets may log the event.

Note: Although participants are welcome to get together after the event, the event will officially be over at 10:15am. Afterwards, participants may chat, meet (away from the fountain), eat and plan for a day of caching!!!

If you'd like to volunteer in any of the following areas, or would like to donate a raffle prize, please let me know! We will need:

-Someone to take pictures and a brief video (then e-mail them to me)
-Someone to print out an FTF Honors Certificate
-Someone to print and hand out flyers to muggles
-Someone to help with the raffle portion
-Someone to ward off security :-)
