Phanatic & Monkeys do "YMCA" at Phillies-Cardinals Game

In what might have been the night's high point for Phillies fans, the Phanatic and a team of monkeys perform "YMCA" during the 7th-inning stretch on Sept. 18, 2011. The performance was oddly choreographed, much like the game, which the Phillies lost, 4-0.

Those were our monkeys! We had such a good time at the game last night. Poor choreographing? It was hard enough to get them to eat their bananas that night let alone having them dance together. hahaha!

@mascotnet they were mesmerizing... both in 7th inning and the earlier 'hey hey we're the monkees' display. were they related to any special promotion, or was it purely spectacle?

Purely spectacle. And fun.
