Godowky...uno de los más grandes técnicos de toda la historia del piano!

SOMEONE CAN POST THIS IN HIGHER QUALITY PLEASE!!!!!

Apart from the one missed chord @ 5:25, astonishing. With so many masters of the instrument, it can be difficult to pick out the most impressive one(s). However; Hamelin is most certainly a performer who is a notch above, along with Cziffra and Berezovsky. I would mention others, but I'm pretty sure everyone can agree on the two I mentioned. =D

dude that's freakin impossible WTF.... SERIOUSLY HAMELIN?!

Yes, Kissin and Ashdenazy are nerds. You are quite perceptive. Good for you.

Whoa! I love the study on the Winter Wind!

Hamelin is a technically perfect pianist. I just wish that he would lighten up interpretation-wise. He plays as if he's afraid to let emotions get the best of him, causing him to play these seemingly impossible pieces too fast!
I love the energy and drive of the winter wind.

Agreed. Berezovsky and Hamelin are for pianism today what Rachmaninov and Hofmann were at the turn of the century.
When asked who the greatest pianist(s) was (were) Rachmaninov replied "There's Hofmann, then there's me".
Who are the greatest pianist today?
There's Hamelin, then there is Berezovsky. Everyone else simply fills the gap when any of the two aforementioned are not performing.
