The strongest instinct we have is to protect our children. It supersedes the reproductive instinct and even the instinct for self preservation. Governments need to learn NOT to get between parents and their children. That our society tolerates governments taking children to educate and raise as the government decides is an indication of how sick our societies have become.

I completely agree that this is sick, however i must point out there is a slight error in th translation where it says they wanted to "legally" homeschool their child. They hadn't gotten a permit for homeschooling but did it anyway so it was not legal. Still, that's no reason to take the boy away, they should just have made sure they got the permit instead. I would like to know more facts about this case.
