Teotihuacan was, at its height in the first half of the 1st millennium CE, the largest pre-Columbian city in the Americas. The city during its existence was larger than any European city of the same era, possibly including Rome. The civilization and cultural complex associated with the site is also referred to as Teotihuacan. Its influence spread throughout Mesoamerica; evidence of Teotihuacano presence, if not outright political and economic control, can be seen at numerous sites in Veracruz and the Maya region. The city was located in what is now the San Juan Teotihuacán municipality in the State of México, Mexico, approximately 40 km (24.8 mi) northeast of Mexico City. It covers a total surface area of 83 kms and was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.

  • great place to visit and EXPERIENCE LIFE

  • It displays the lack of your ignorance, you shoul read a little bit more about this archaeological site, it was built by the Teotihacan culture, nothing to do ith the AZtec one, they saw this awesome city many years latter after this city- Teotihuacan collapsed.

By the way I am a touristic guide in this site, so if you are planning to visit Mexico and especially this palce, dont hesitate and approach me, I can give you a tour round the magestic site. I live 20 mins near the pyramids.

    :)

  • sorry guys but teotihuacan was build before the aztecs... nothing to do with them ..

    u guys should really read a book!/...

  • @TeLaTragasTodita thanks

  • ahahahhahaa !

No sabes nada del tema !

  • OMFG! TOLTEC!

    Lol!

Teotihuacan is a unknow civilization, no toltec, no aztec (the aztec is a mythological culture the right word is: Mexica), no maya, no olmec, no zoques.

@Amazing Video dude, but should have some real information.

  • You´re very ignorant !

    Is Toltec !

    No Aztec !

  • no, not aztec civilization
