The country of my birth shames me. Bringing a fellow human to death- no matter what the crime is, I don't think the death penalty is right. It is a convenient erasure of a fellow human- what right have you? a man like Starkweather could more fittingly have been punished with a life of servitude and imprisonment. You've got the right to punish but to kill... to kill... how are you better than the murderer himself?
