Listen again if you didn't get it.

Sure you can get saved right before you die BECAUSE God is gracious - but there is the FACT that Esau sought repentance w/ tears and couldn't find it.

And - what if you're waiting and waiting to repent and DIE SUDDENLY - then no death bed to repent on?

God's eternal only begotten Son became a human to die 4 u while you were in REBELLION against him - how much more loving can you ask for?

I submit that if any teenager thinks they need to sow their wild oats...no, if they even have wild oats at all, then they aren't Christian, nor are they a part of Christian youth. Dont get me wrong, I aint talking about sinless perfection.

@mIPhoneShere You can search an online Bible for Esau for all the references but the main verse this is pulling from I believe is Hebrews 12:17 - For you know that afterward, when Esau desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no chance to repent, though he sought it with tears.

@wazitbemon the bible teaches these are the days of grace. On that note it is possible that if God should tarry you can repent on your death bed. This however is not a goal one should have. The fact is we are not condemned by God your right about that, but sin is condemned by God, and Jesus didn't die to condemn us, he died to get sin out of our lives. The cross means Jesus took our place. He went to hell for us. We have to recieve that sacrifice. If you denie you need Him to live thats problem

@matt3i6 no it is not sound preaching any more than Creflo Dollar and the prosperity preachers is sound preaching. Esau was not born again. If you are born again and you do not walk after the flesh you are under grace. If you are under grace and you continue in Jesus Spirit which you recieve when you are born again and then if your not cheated out of it you can be baptized by fire into the holy spirit as on the day of pentacost so you have the power to live right. He preaches condemnation.

@wazitbemon the problem with this is that if your not a sinner then neither are the child mollesters or the rest of this evil world there is no right or wrong in this case and what this guy says is stupid anyway he is taking away from the fact that Jesus is our salvation and gives us grace when we walk in him...this reformed theology is condemnation preaching and that is all it is...they preach for people to repent without balance. Jesus will reform you and you need to be we all do!

@matt3i6 i dont believe in sin and the whole bible thing anymore, i dont believe jesus can or will save anyone. if i die right now, i'll be back to try again in another life, bible talks of reincarnation as well. i have nothing against jesus, only the way people think of him. the bible says as a man thinketh so is he. i don't, won't and never will think myself a sinner, therefore i am not a sinner and hence no need for repentance nor a savior. life isn't a sin, its a experience to savor..

i was told when i went to bible church that i can repent on my deathbed and still go to heaven, now we got another preacher screaming the exact opposite, no wonder i no longer believe in the bible, preachers change it daily to keep your attention, and your money..screaming sin is a excellent way to make money and keep people in fear...surely not of a loving god in my book
