Sayyan Bolo was originally sung by BaRay Ghulam Ali Khan and as you will listen in the interview that Ghulam Ali sang it and got approved as a disciple of BaRay Ghulam Ali Khan and was trained for more than a decade by Ustad Barkat Ali Khan and Ustad BaRay Mubarak Ali Khan too. Here hes reviving those golden moments of his life and also paying tribute to his guru in his own style. In the coming parts he'll pay tribute to his other two gurus Ustad Barkat Ali Khan as well as Ustad BaRay Mubarak Ali Khan by singing their famous renditions. Hope you all will like this Audiotek Classical Sangeet Series :-)

  • keya baat hai ji, very nice ...

  • mehrbani pa ji :-)

  • Ghulam Ali, the singing sensation has enthralled audiences all over the world for almost four decades now.His "Chupke Chupke Raat Din Aasoon Bahana Yaad Hai...." whose words still haunt. And the man behind that voice still stays as elusive as he ever was.His background as a Thumri singer makes him an exceptional ghazal singer. Ghulam Ali can easily be termed as the most versatile ghazal singer ever.

thank you very much for this upload.:)

    cheers.

  • my pleasure :-)

  • He has his own class no one can compete him His style of singing is unique from his contemporaries

  • I heard Ghulam Ali's daughter during my college days in 90z, she is not professional singer at all bust she sings ever so nice.

  • I have had the pleasure of producing and recording Ghulam Ali n the nineties, for two Albums titled Samunder (poetry by Naseer Ahmad Nasir) and Khushboo (poetry by contemporary poets) both released by Oriental Star Agencies, 548-550 Moseley Road, Birmingham, UK. He is a simple person, would eat simple Salan Roti. This song that has been uploaded is an excellent thumri in Raag Peelo that he mostly renders in his Mehfils such as the one here. It shows his proficiency over art of thumri singing.

  • Very nice. Indeed well said by Zain4b. Great upload dr. sahab. I do like to hear the chat. so please do what is easy 4u. Thanks for great upload.

  • Thank you for this gem.
