    King Tigers were brought in on D+9 (26th September) and used sparingly. Panzer III/IVs and assault guns were the main tanks used. 9th and 10th Panzer Division were put there for rest and recuperation. One of the Allied mistakes was that Kurt Student (the guy behind the parachute invasion of Crete in 1941) was in Holland as was Walter Model.
