Sheila (Annie Chancel), the quinticential French Yé-yé girl, sings two of her first hits: "Jolie Petite Sheila" (1962) and "L'école est Finie" (1963). The first song, from which Annie Chancel got her stage name, is a cover of Tommy Roe's "Sweet Little Sheila."

* Yes, I know that I spelled the second song wrong in the title credits.

GRAND MERCI A ELLE pour tout ce qu'elle nous a apporté depuis !!!!

  • This song was originally in English, and was first recorded by Tommy Roe under the title, "Sweet Little Sheila." His was the original version, and the version most people in the English-speaking world are accustomed to hearing. The song was later covered in French by both Sheila and Lucky Blondlo. I don't know which of the French covers was the most popular.
