Howard Westley was a major contributor to the Footprints classes, books, and shows. A delightful man, Howard flew planes in WWII, became an airline pilot, later, a beekeeper and environmentalist. He also played piano and just plain told great stories, in person and in print. Howard reads a suspenseful story involving WWII airplanes, from "Stories From The Heart," vol. 2. "Purple Shorts," a personal fav of Ina, appears in vol. 3. Thanks to Chrystine Julian for design/editing for YouTube!

  • Dear Marjean -- Howard has been a major treat to anyone ever getting to know him. A vibrant, enthusiastic and talented man with the ability to weave wonderful tales whether in print or aloud. It was an honor to work with him always.

  • Dear, dear Uncle Howard how we will miss hearing your voice telling us the many stories. I remember what happened after your crash in the glider--crawling at nite to avoid getting caught--and eating insects and /or worms--MARJEAN YOUNG NOETH
