  • @swoop17100 I did chase that storm, and it damn neared killed me.

  • @swoop17100 Yeah, I remember that night and at first, I was shocked how sick that rotation and hook echo was.

    @girlzonly1 Yeah, me too. That night was scary except I live in Wichita so I knew I was fine. I was watching KSN instead of KAKE but I like KSN, KAKE and KWCH, all are very good on giving you storm warnings. When I'm on radio and a big storm is going on, I listen to KNSS. All 4 are very good on warning you big about storms.

  • That is some sick rotation on the velocity echoes and just look at that hook echo in the radar. Damn I would have killed to chase that storm. But, I feel for the people of Greensburg because that will take about 5 to 10 years to rebuild after a tornado like that but damn that radar just looks impressive.

  • It was for quite a while but I believe that they have re-built or at least begun to rebuild but this was the first EF-5 tornado on the Enhanced Fujita Scale

  • "Wind's blowing mode" and "How hard its raining mode" That guy has bad vocabulary! LOL!

  • I remember this night. it was so scary! im from ks too and i was with my mom and sister when this was going on we were watching the radar and then the meteorologist started freaking out and he was saying that even he was scared. we are about two hours away from greensburg. thats how scary it was.
