A CSX coal train beats all odds in richland NY. Due to the wet rails and weight of the train it almost stalls out. great slow moving action. At the first road crossing watch how many times the gates come down....Enjoy

  • Actually this is nothing compaired to having a train wreck or using an unneeded train. In all these engeneers did everything right. Let me ask you, did they make you wait for hours or even days on end because they were unable to get things through. Let me ask you something else, do you want a jod (which you know you are incapable of doing), guess not so shut the fuck up, and sit the fuck down, and sulk in your own stupidity bitch...... Word of wisdom

  • One word, DPU, and stalls like that are no more.

  • look at those units just a bouncing.

  • Where is the sand?

  • 8400hp and AC traction at their finnest

  • That's AC power for you

  • @50163 actually, the cost of running one train is more efficient than running 2 trains. Now you have 2 train crews to pay for, and othe personel that is required to build the train's. and now you are clogging up the main with one extra train that is not needed. This is a minor inconvenience and this engineer is proficient enough to know how to get the train moveing. Like a steam engine, you can still feel how the train is talking to you through the throttle& so forth.

  • this company must have loads of time and money. Two lighter train having 20 times the speed would be much more effective.

  • @ 2:58, you can see the MAC is slipping on the crossing as the unit is bouncing lightly.

  • Some one underestimated the HPT really badly. But a cool video indeed, Shows one the true pulling power of AC locos
