Soybeans are loaded with protein and an excellent source of fiber, iron and many other nutrients. They also contain plant subsatnces called isoflavones which helps bone and heart health.

  • In Michael Pollan's book "In Defense of Food" he states that the FDA has not given soy foods GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) status. He spoke with an FDA researcher who says that the health claims made by the soy industry aren't backed by any hard evidence.

  • Soybeans are loaded with Round-Up that raises the levels of isoflavones. The organic don't have the same isoflavones.
