San Francisco firefighters respond to an apartment fire. This segment was taken from Episode 107 which aired on October 17, 1989 on CBS. However, this segment was not seen on the original broadcast because the episode was inturruped by coverage of the Loma Prieta earthquake.

  • why is this video suddenly funny at 0:00?

  • That's just from where the tape started recording.

  • geez the guy sounds like hes pissed off at the firemen.

  • Yeah, but he had just lost pretty much everything he owned, so he probably wasn't in a great mood.

  • The guy said, "I was going to clean today- I guess I don't have to." That's funny! At least he got his car keys back in good condition with the little light on it working :)

  • @davinp yeah the only problem is is that show is 89% unrealistic and more drama then truth.

  • he found his car keys

  • the guy was trying to be funny didnt work but was brave

  • 1:42 that must be the "Golden Gate Bridge"

  • that's a lot of damage. Most people don't realize how much damage a fire can do

  • it must be fun to slide down that pole

  • I would be upset also. Thats your whole freakin life burnt up and destroyed, nothing left. I know they are just THINGS and you are lucky to be alive but thats everything you own gone in seconds. And most ppl do not have insurance either

  • Look at the bottom of the screen on the right you might learn something.

  • I appreciate The Family Channel for assisting CBS in this matter.

  • I watch KPIX all the time on txu I never thought that Rescue 911 would have an incident reeanactment from the same place as the station broadcasts from.
