Pakistani pop musicians are propelling anti-American conspiracy theories. The lyrics reflect widespread views among their young educated fans who say the Taliban is not Pakistan's problem.

  • It is ridiculous that NOBODY is giving Adil Omar any attention regarding these issues. Adil Omar is an 18 year old rapper based in Islamabad who has worked with Cypress Hill and has recently done a song called SPOOKSHOW which features atheist magician and comedian Penn Jillette on vocals. The song openly condemns the Taliban and suicide bombers and organized religion. I really cant believe its not getting the attention it should be getting.

  • WHAT! criticizing pakistani pop icons for not speaking out against TALIBAN! Mr. Ellick, how about first getting some american pop icons to condem terrorism before criticizing other nations pops stars.

These performers are already making stand against the taliban ideology everytime they hit the stage to perform. FOR THOSE THAT DON'T know, Mr. Ellick conveniently forgot to mention that the Taliban are anti music. (any form of music)

  • I stopped watching this out of context fluff after the line:"While America bids for the hearts and minds of Pakistan...."

  • @sunnylander1 hassan nisar...CIA agent. you gota be kiding me.

  • thats here.you hate pakistan .and they hate you....if you will give hate, you will get hate

  • let the TIME decide....

  • Well Pakistanis are innocent but not dumb or fool...we know that if moulana, as I mentioned earlier who gave Fatwa against those so called Talibans, is assasined then who is behind this killing. Of course, who is not loyal to Pakistan, not loyal to Islam...these Pakistani Talibans are bullshits, seeds of US...and drone attacks, well i think every engineer of world knows how these drones functions...

  • Pakistanis passion about music but they love lyrics, the message in songs.and not the whole music composition. Thats why they prefer Sufi music. Fasi Zaka is good critic in Pakistan, talk alot on these viruses but never mention solution of it. I think he rightly said about Shahzad Roy song Laga Rah, its just for fun, and everything could not be left as so. Moulana Sarfaraz was killed after giving Fatwa that "Killing Muslims and Pakistani in particular are Haram!" Well, tell me who could kill him

  • By watching this video, i must say that West knows everything and denys everything! one thing more, most of the pop stars are not as famous as you quoted, Pakistanis prefer Sufi music stars more compared to all these pop stars. If you don't believe me, google it you will find the results. Second did America still deny that this Taliban seed was planted by US themselves, funded by themselves, trained by themselves n now Russians are using against them in the same way as US did in 80's

  • This video has a very strong point. How can you all care about the image of Pakistan, if everything is going wrong with our people???

Were there any terror attacks on Pakistan before US intervention in this region?? Couldn't have the US raised their walls high, with all that money spent on war, than going on a wild goose chase, and creating turmoil in this region. Taliban is not the problem, US is!! There can't b any peace with US presence in this region!!
