Hoop Dreams is a critically acclaimed 1994 documentary film directed by Steve James, with Kartemquin Films. It follows the story of two African-American high school students in Chicago and their dream of becoming professional basketball players.
When William and Curtis are watching that Bulls/Pistons game that probably was not the game they were watching. There is a "1991 Playoffs logo" on the court of the game. In 1991 William was a senior but he looks and sounds younger in this clip and Curtis still had a jerrycurl. So the clip of them talking was probably like 1988 or 1989 although the game they are supposeably watching is from 1991
