Physical and Sexual Abuse impact our society in a way few imagine. The Long Walk is a short based on the book The Keystone Kid which has received critical acclaim from all sectors of life. Angela Shelton of Finding Angela Shelton notoriety stated That Mike Furches story was a '...source of inspiration and a shining light in the darkness.' Lisa Baker from Dr. Charles Stanley's In Touch Magazine called the story, 'This generations The Cross & The Switchblade.' Others have stated that it is one of the 'most therapeutic books you will ever read.' The book retains a 5 Star rating at Amazon.

Award winning director Titus Jackson of Tiroma Films is directing and writing the script for this incredible short movie based on the book The Keystone Kid. The story involves the title character Anthony finally obtaining some success through his writing. After a counseling session with his therapist he journeys on a long walk to confront one of his abusers, his mother. This short movie follows through on events after the publication of the book, both on film and in real life. Many have been moved and touched to a point of healing form their own physical and sexual abuse through this story. The short movie through the powerful story telling of Titus Jackson will help others to the place of recovery.

The Long Walk will not only be a production to assist in the creation of meaningful film, it is a film that will touch lives and provide healing to those who have been abused. It will also help those who need to better understand those who have been abused. We greatly thank you for your support in helping make this short film a reality.
