@MegaManX1415 If you read the Protomen's story, or see one of the live shows, you'll see it is Megaman. He says it and turns his back on them, abandoning them to their fate.

1:36 Some people are thinking that it was a voice shouting stop, to me it sounds like "hope" Perhaps it was either Light or one of his sons saying "Even now there is hope".

i love proto's voice. it kinda feels like he went through hell and back.

Try listening for the "You're our only..." part. You can just barely make it out a couple times during that sequence. It's a workable interpretation.
It's just great to hear music with ideas that can get people examining the lyrics so minutely.

I always thought it was Megaman pleading with Proto not to shoot. As if they both have their mega-busters charged and aimed at each-other, and ultimately Mega has to shoot first to stop Proto.
