Absolutely brilliant! So brilliant, in fact, that I immediately purchased a Behringer BCR2000. That's "R", for rotary, instead of "F", for fader. That's where the problem started.
Now BCF2000 and BCR2000 share a users manual; and by all accounts, in Behringer literature, are identical (save for 8 faders vs. 16 rotary pots). Uh... No.
As soon as I unboxed and connected the BCR2000, restarted Tutorial #1, and tried to boot to "LC" mode, I knew I was in for trouble.

essential viewing for anyone thinking of setting up a BCF with Logic. As you may have gathered, from what has stumped me for the previous two weeks, I'm not a natural with even the basics of this kind of technology. That being the case, DanceTech's vids are very succinctly explained and makes allowances (I feel) for the novice and - to be honest - those amongst us who are more at ease with having to operate the musical instrument of their choice as opposed to a computer program. Recommended!

For anyone who needs this info in the future: The Setup menu for BCF/Logic can be found thus: Open Logic. Click the word "Logic" at the top right of your screen. Click on "Preferences". Click on "Control Surfaces". Click "Set Up". The Set up menu will then appear on your screen. This has taken me 2 weeks! No response from my post below (to be expected of course) but also joined a behringer forum on Yahoo and - despite pleading - received no response. Again, these vids of DanceTech's are

HELP! Great videos from DanceTech; worked my way through the first three yesterday prior to turning my set up off for the evening. The problem is, I have turned my set up back on today and cannot find the behringer/ logic set up menu page (or whatever it's called) anywhere. Just as in DanceTech's film the page in question simply popped up afetr pressing the exit key following my initial install of the Behringer; I can't find it anywhere now! Any suggestions?!!!

Hi, i bought one of these units today and can't seem to get it to work properly with Logic 9. I'm using a macbook pro and followed the instructions at the start exactly but no luck. I can move the faders in logic and the controller responds but when i touch a fader on the bcf it resets to original value in logic. None of the buttons are responsive either, any suggestions? Is there a downloadable mac driver?

Many thanks for this well-made and very informative video series. It has brought me up to speed very quickly.

Just bought a BCF2000 after watching these vids. Nice controller. Going through your videos again to write all the commands down. Thank you for this.

Does this unit support HUI and Mackie Control protocol? If not, Is there an installation disc included?
