Nail Porn: CND Nails for Behnaz Sarafpour at New York Fashion Week

Nail Porn - that's how I described it when I had a chance to watch Heather Reynosa Davis ready the nails for the Behnaz Sarafpour fw 2011 show at New York Fashion Week.

Two types of nails were created for the show. The first had a black base with clear tip to mimic the Manolos that were custom made for this collection. The second had a nude base and black tip to mimic the feet in black mesh custom Manolos. Crazy beautiful, these elegant designs were mind-blowing in person.

Side note: I had no idea that shortly after this Fashion Week I'd be getting an interview call on becoming an educator for CND. I eventually made it through to Boot Camp and passed! This Sarafpour show was a special moment because, even though I wasn't a part of CND at the time, I got a great glimpse of the creativity and love for the craft from the team. I'm happy they shared that with me and I can share that with you.
