we're talking about the lag of a system that is trying to track every movement you make, even in your face...the fact is that even if this had 10 frames of lag its still the most innovative gaming technology out there. Think about it, how many times have you wanted to play a game with the homies and you havent had enough controllers for everyone? How many times has your little brother lost the one remaining controller you have? This shits ganna change the world, get used to it

what good is not having a controller if the game doesn't ever do what you tell it to WHEN you tell it to? i'd take the controller any day. besides, it's not like this is anything new. ps2 did it with eyetoy, ps3 does it with pseye (look up kung fu live or eyepet), and PC's did it over 10 years ago with webcams.

@360cheaters on old 360's thats gonna cause no end of problems regardless of using its own power sorce the old 360's are gonna break down even more than before, why do microsoft do stupid things like this (yeah kinect might be cheaper than what it might have cost) but to buy a gadget for your console and find around a week later youll never use it again or it causes you 360 to break (anyone remember the nikko fans that caused even more 360's to have the rrod) thats what kinect will do to old306s

has everyone forgot that microsoft in an attempt to save money removed the chip that would enable kinect to track your body fully with a very quick reponce time, since microsoft has taken that chip out of kinect its very laggy, in my local GAME store "GAME as in the UK chain video games retailers" on eof the guys told us about the 2 seconds of lag with kinect, not only that but no voice activation or motion menues within the dashboard, without the chip kinect takes over 30% of the proccess power
