  • A GOP official admitting the truth? When exactly did Hell freeze over?

  • Reagan, like Jesus, has been wrapped by conservatives in a cloak of mythology and legend. The ugly truth is that Reagan wasn't very Reaganesque.

  • Of course, facts are conservatives' natural enemy. As Reagan himself said -- incorrectly quoting John Adams, who said they were stubborn things -- "Facts are stupid things."

  • Facts, conservatives' natural enemy.

  • but then i thought that all the libs hated reagan and said 'reaganomics' didnt work and that all the jobs people got sucked...But they were higher then, over 50% tax rate for people making hundred of thousands/millions. So are they both wrong? Higher taxes are ok and Reagan was successful? Virtually inverting both arguments on their heads???

  • @rex7457 I have problems because I don't believe in talking snakes, creationism, and a fictional character Jesus Christ whose life was based on the myth of Horus and the philanthropy of a real man? Look, you're just a little to touchy man, not everyone is christian, not everyone is republican, and not everyone agrees with you. You say I smear Reagan, but all I'm saying is that facts don't lie.

  • @rex7457 unconstitutional. Thanks for the friendly debate, erm, well thanks for the debate.

  • @rex7457 Now, that said, I don't hate you, I just get fired up easily. I'm glad we've come to a consensus, and I don't favor either party, in fact, I liked Nixon to a point. I admit, I lean liberally, but I can see some conservative views. Like ID voting. I agree with requiring IDs to prevent voter fraud, however I believe that if a state enacts an ID voting law that they should then provide state issued ID's free of charge (including birth certificate retrieval) otherwise the ID law is...

  • @rufuguru Son, I tell you one thing. The argument stops here. I don't care what you say about politics, you care try to smear Reagan all you want he was just a man. You don't believe in God then you have much BIGGER problems. You may want to get your nose out of the bloomberg report and open the Bible.. It sucks to be me???? NO SIR, it sucks to be you. I would not dare want to be in your shoes.. I have nothing more to say to you...

  • @rex7457 I don't believe in a god, but I do believe in the First amendment so if you don't like what I have to say, then "Awwwe, sucks to be you" As I said, I don't believe Reagan was the worst president, but he definitely wasn't good. And the whole argument that "..well he was better than the other guy would've been" Is a BS cop-out that people use when they can't just admit that THAT PRESIDENT WASN'T GOOD. and Micheal Bloomberg himself is liberal, the Bloomberg report, however, is conservative

  • @rufuguru Your language is terrible, you leave God out of this and watch you mouth. I can read and I see what you are talking about. But I still say that Reagan was the best for the times, either it was him or Carter that messed things up here in America and Walter Mondale that ran in 1984 that would have been worse. Bloomberg is very liberal by the way..
