Brother, depending on the context, "Nafs" could have various meanings, and meanings of words borrowed from Arabic or Farsi often times changes in Urdu and Punjabi. Nafs in everyday language could mean soul, breath, essence, or self.

this translation is completely wrong, he is not saying that, nafs do not means pulse and the word NAFS is described in quran and there are three types of NAFS. again this is NAFS not NABZ
