I'm a lawyer, my bro is a patent atty. with a PhD in biochemistry, my friends are: an eye surgeon, an officer in the Army, a physics teacher and a computer programmer. A documentary about the normal people playing would be mundane and uninteresting.The film is interesting because it celebrates the rarely seen and unusual players of the game.That's why people want to see it.

I dont get the big deal...its not like it was made for DnD players to look bad. Infact it came off that as long as people were happy with what they did then why should you care.

Not sure why every D&D player feels the need to defend the game to the point they can't enjoy a film that celebrates the weirder side of things... even if a lot of that effect is due to editing. ^_^ Relax... enjoy the movie... if you're "cooler" than these people, that's fine. If you're just as weird that's even better. Screw normalcy. Will be checking this out for sure.

Just once, I'd love to see a documentary about something like this, except with normal people being interviewed too. This just reinforces the stereotype that the only people who play games like DnD are people who are socially inept and awkward.

@GillesGerais That's pretty harsh. Who are you to criticize how they like to play, they aren't hurting anybody. What makes them freaks that they are different, I think that makes you a freak for being 'normal'
