Smellin' like a rose
She got no dirty little fingers
Bloodshot eyes are gone

Tell me I"m wrong

Twice as Hard
As it was the first time
I said goodbye

And no one ever wanna' know
Love ain't funny
A crime in the wink of an eye

Your sister always singing
She play the step child
A broken little memory
Her heart was never kind

Tell me I'm blind

(Repeat Chorus)

Tell me I'm wrong

  • "crime in the wink of an eye" love that line

It's not the guitar that makes the blues. It's the guitar player. That is the dumbest argument I have ever heard. Are you saying Buddy Guy isn't a blues player because he plays a Strat?

Also Gibson aren't handmade, and neither is Fender, unless you go custom shop. Gibson has the worst QC ever. ESPECIALLY for the thousands you have to drop on one. I played 8 SGs before I finally settled on mine. And all of them were completely different. I also own a Strat.

    You are fanboying so hard.

  • @mpgregor Same goes for Squires... Marcus Miller... that is all that need be said there.

  • Nobody ever wanna know

    LOVE ain't funny

  • @charlaheiser umm, they aged

  • this version of the song is definitely a style i could hang with. closer to its southern roots and more old skynnyrd like (no i can't stand new skynnyrd)

  • @charlaheiser chris grew a beard

  • Also for the record, you can't even really call a Studio a real Gibson. Although that's the most I'd pay for a new Gibson.

  • WTF are you all talking about!?! first of all, i bougnt a mahogany and ebony les paul studio to make the blues sound bluer.

    2) duane allman

    3) billy gibbons

Gibsons own at the blues. Fenders are for the cats that don't want to invest in handmade equipment.

  • @occhioallallocco I don't know. Gibson just wasn't made for blues. At least not the gritty, dirty blues. The only person I've seen pull it off is Joe Perry and even he used Fender on most of Aerosmith's good songs. BB King of course rocked Gibson but he's more jazz/blues fusion than straight blues. Gibson was made mainly for Jazz. I mean Les Paul made the Gibson Les Paul famous and he was an oldies jazz guy. I'm not talking down on Gibson. I just won't appreciate it for what it's not.
