But his contributions to music will be around forever - he was so original and so incredibly great in his prime.

@typicalaussiebloke Sly actually contributed with Funkadelic on the album "Electric Spanking of War Babies" and throughout the late seventies and early eighties they would always tour together.

dude the late performance of this show was sick i was front row, and that crack head back-up singer had me rollin, one of the best nights of my life i grew up on sly and always wanted to see him this night was sick
