The timer doesn't start until you break the beams. You can sit there all day and then still run a good ET. You must have rolled ahead a bit or something.

Yeah, the failure was myself because it was my first time running at this track. Usually both tree's light up green and mine didn't light up, so I sat for a good few seconds before taking off.

well, it was my first time running at irwindale, so the tree confused me. only 1 side lit up green, so i sat at the line for a good 3 seconds before i took off. i ran a low 13 in my integra. I almost thought it was bracket racing. The car that i do race is down at the moment so eh..what do you have done to your evo? that car is some serious business
