This was a robbery yet still one of my favorite fights from my all time favorite fighter. It was a robbery because the scoring was clear. Yes Mesi won alot of rounds but not all the ones HBO suggested. Round 4 was a clear Jirov round while round 2 was even or a Jirov round as well. Without the knockdowns it was a clear Mesi fight, but with them Jirov wins clearly. Two of the judges scored the rds with KD's incorrectly. rd 9 was not 10-9, and rd 10 was not 10-8 as 2 judges scored it.
