@darkbeauty1989. Isaiah 7:14 clearly says a sign will be given a ''VIRGIN'' will be with child and give birth to a Son. and shall call his name Emmanuel.

You are not reading the words properly. You missed virgin!!

Also you are misreading> ''and shall call his Name Emmanuel''. which means God with us.

It is not saying ''and you shall give him the ''Name'' Emmanuel''

Luke 1:31 says you shall give him the ''Name'' Jesus.

Call ''JESUS >Name'' means Jehovah Saves=God with us.

@shaky777001 who cares what the bible says when it isnt even proven? OT didnt even say a virgin would have immanuel it says a YOUNG WOMAN will have Immanuel and jesus' name isnt immanuel. all those verses in the OT were taken out of context so they could be used for Jesus.

@darkbeauty1968 Also Jesus did promise that he will reveal himself to those who love and obey him {John 14:21}. I did tell God i can not Just follow words in a book written by men by blind obedience. I need you or you Son to reveal yourself to me somehow. Jesus fulfilled his promise and revealed himself to me!!.

{2 Timothy 1:7} I have not been given a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

@darkbeauty: The bible was written by different men over 5000 years who God has revealed himself to and it all matches up with over 300 prophecies fulfilled. Jesus who is the Son of God and equal to God who is also God himself had all Authority under heaven and earth given to him by his Father God. Jesus said nobody can get to the father unless he comes through me. I love Jesus for what he has done for me.
