On August 9, 2010, a hot, sunny summer day in Edmonton gave way to a wild, stormy evening. The storm brought with it up to 100 mm of rain in some spots which flooded underpasses, as well as incessant lightning which sparked house fires. It was surprising that this storm didn't spawn a funnel, but rotation was plainly visible on this supercell thunderstorm.

  • Love the Random Out of nowhere pics of Scary Clouds :3

  • @BeAuTiFuL123WoNdErS Thanks, I worked a few scary clouds pics in there!

  • That's crazy. You were even closer to the lightning than I was and I thought that I was really close to some of the strikes!

  • Thanks, Will, I try to capture the best storm shots possible!

  • Thanks, MichiganWeather! This storm had lightning that was just constant!
