Politicians are passing the buck. The system was too loose to handle wealth. History is actually repeating itself on a larger scale from Ancient Greece. Our founding fathers in America were afraid of the failures of Ancient Greece. The progressives romanticized it, but overlooked the women and children executed by a panel of the wealthiest. It's happened before without corporations. Direct democracy is an anything goes system.
