Barcelona, 16 February 2009 - Telstra today launched the world's fastest mobile broadband service, ushering in a new era in real-time mobile communications that will bring major benefits to customers, innovation and business productivity.
The CEOs of Telstra, Ericsson, Qualcomm and Sierra Wireless jointly announced a new 21Mbps peak rated mobile broadband modem, Telstra Turbo 21, would be available to customers on Telstra's supercharged HSPA+ network, the Next G ™ network, on 23 February. Peak network speeds will increase to 42Mbps later this year.
i call BULLSHIT!!! ive had 2 faulty wirless b-band sticks,1 was lost in a warehouse for 4months.when it was found it worked well,but i found strange the serial numbers had changed and it worked 'OK' hmmm.now 2 yrs later im on ADSL2 Elete plan dowloading at 200kb/s,up 30kb/s id make a vid responce but dont have the spare month to upload a short vid.time to contact office of fair traiding and telecomunications.ive lost $3800 in 2 months coz of this crap.they wont even send a tech to my house

got one of these, im only hitting 2-mbs ps after that my laptop crashs and dies cause it just cant handle it... i dont think the 21 mark is really made for the consumer market yet i know they can reach it but im yet to get past 19 without a mayjor crash and a complete network drop out

Hopefully when the Government finnished the Fibre Optic Network then the Towers will have more Bandwidth avaible so we can get more closer to 21Mbits in typical speeds =)

FAKEEEEE.. see the typical speeds: 550-8mbps, i could be 1metere away from the tower with a proper backhaul and itd still be like 7mbps. RUBBBISSSH. only BENEFIT FROM THIS, AT ALL. is the 64QAM reduction in latency. 110ms will become about 60 when this is in play.
