I climb the Haiku stairs (AKA Stairway to Heaven in Kanehoe Hawaii. 3922 steps up and about 2500 feet elevation gain. The hike is closed to the public and it`s considered illegal (trespassing) A security guard comes everyday to turn people away. All you have to do is get there before he does. The times vary. Before 3AM is a good idea. Stairs are in great shape. As long as your in reasonable shape and not stupid clumsy (just take it one step at a time) You`ll be fine.
