I tell all the customers the same stuff when they ask/say any of this: "I'm in college. I only work here, man." We get treated like crap on the daily. Then again, a raise every six months, great health benefits, tips, free coffee while I work, stocks, and a free pound of coffee or tin of tea a week isn't so bad when I hear nightmare stories of clothing retail workers who are still earning $8 after seven years. I'm sure there are nearby Dunkin' or Einstein for those who hate Starbucks so much.
